Last year Yeff conceived the hugely successful Polyphonic Playground in collaboration with Fashion Space Gallery and Studio PSK.

Inspired by the joy of exploration as a child, the installation encourages adults to re-discover the experience of play. Recreating archetypal playground elements — swings, slides, and climbing frame — in combination with electric paint circuitry and interactive trigger pads, the iconic structure is transformed into a dynamic musical instrument.

Yeff maintains true innovation occurs when experts experience fear, curiosity or removal of traditional tools.

Challenging predetermined patterns of musical composition, Yeff invites music professionals to reach, jump and climb the unorthodox instrument. Creating without habitual comforts, participants uncover a new relationship with their expertise.
